Power Fundamentals

Privacy

Power Fundamentals is an essay site. It collects almost nothing, and this page says exactly what that means rather than making you infer it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no login, no session, no advertising network, and no embedded third-party script that would set one on its behalf.

Two small values are stored locally in your browser, using localStorage rather than cookies. They are never transmitted to the server or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes them: your light or dark theme preference, and whether you dismissed the cookie notice.

Analytics

There is no analytics script on this site. No page-view tracking, no session recording, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting, and no advertising or social pixels.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server logs for the requests it serves — IP address, user agent, the URL requested, and a timestamp. That is ordinary infrastructure logging, common to essentially every website, and it is used for operations and abuse prevention rather than for building a profile of you. Those logs are held by Vercel under its own retention policy.

The newsletter

The email edition is hosted on Substack. This site does not collect email addresses for it — the link on the newsletter panel takes you to Substack, and everything from that point on happens there, under Substack’s privacy policy rather than this one. Substack does set cookies; this site does not.

That link is a plain link, not an embedded widget. Nothing from Substack loads on these pages, so visiting this site does not put you in touch with them at all unless you choose to click through.

The contact form

The enquiry form on the speaking page sends what you type to a single mailbox as an email. It is not stored on this site — there is no database behind it and no record of the enquiry lives here once the message has been sent.

Your address is used to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not added to the newsletter list, and it is not shared. Please do not send confidential, client-privileged, or market-sensitive material through it.

The RSS feed

The feed at /rss.xml is a plain file. Subscribing to it in a reader tells this site nothing beyond the ordinary server log entry described above, and requires no email address.
